Well isn't this exciting (and a little scary). I am feeling very vulnerable! This year, the bible verse that I have based my classroom theme on is, 'Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you may go.' Joshua 1:9. I have to say that, although launching The Kinder Ninja has been on my bucket list for quite a while, I am very new to having a blog and uploading and selling my resources. In clicking the 'publish' button for this website, I needed to remind myself that this bible verse is as much for me as it is for the children in my class! I am sure I have no idea what I am getting myself into and because I have all the spare time in the world (note the sarcasm) between the busyness and commitment of family life and teaching full time, not to mention other bits and pieces that don't fall into these categories, I am at a loss to explain why embarking on this is even necessary. BUT, I can't help myself! Over the last couple of years I have spent hours researching and reading other education based websites, blogs, Facebook posts and Pinterest pins and I have laughed, cried and whooped with excitement at the ideas, inspiration and knowledge that I have gained from other teachers, parents and home-schoolers who have made themselves vulnerable by sharing their journey. I only pray that my journey can bless others in the way that I have been abundantly blessed by these people who have shared theirs. The above bible verse can be found at www.unexpectedelegance.com and be downloaded for free!
